I’m a hobby photographer in northern Virginia. I’ve always had an interest in expressing myself creatively through art, though I never had a specific outlet for doing so. I’ve had a mild interest in photography since college, but it wasn’t until I joined the D.C. Cosplay Photo Shoots group that this interest really took off. I started watching all the YouTube tutorials I could find to try to learn more. I started off not even knowing how to work a DSLR or what the heck ISO and aperture were, and forget about lighting techniques! The one thing I did have going for me was familiarity with Photoshop, so learning new editing techniques has come pretty easily.

I got my first camera for my birthday in 2018 and I’m proud to say I’ve come a long way. I’m at the beginning of my journey into photography and I have a ton more to learn, so I hope to constantly be updating my portfolio with new and better photos.
